Savannah (she/her)
Art has been a constant in my life since I was three years old. I’ve always had a passion for color, layout, and visual storytelling.
With a deep connection to flora and fauna, I’ve regularly used natural themes as the backbone of my illustrative portfolio. From the flowers and leaves to the bugs and trees, I’ve always been inspired by the world we share.
Outside of illustration, I’m inspired by seasonal outdoor activities, trying new food with my partner, and world-building video games with my cat named Bear by my side.
My History
I started sharing doodles on Instagram in 2020 under the brand “Scribbles by Savannah.” After gaining traction, I launched a Patreon, opened my online store, and started vending at art markets.
While keeping digital illustration at the center of my craft, I’ve worked to cultivate strong relationships in the Southern Maine art scene and contribute to local businesses however I can.
I continue to learn from that strong network around me daily and take pride in how much I have overcome in my self-taught illustration journey.
Core Principles
Less is more. I try to keep the physical layers in my pieces and other aspects of my art making as low pressure as possible. I crave ease in my creative process and like to keep things simple, without compromising depth in what I make.
Let it flow. Creativity ebbs and flows, it certainly does not allows show up in the way you always desire it to! Allowing adaptability in my process has been crucial both for clients and my personal art making.
